Blind from birth, and a native New Yorker, I was raised in Harlem where jazz played a major role in my musical career. My style of music is jazz, blues, standards and gospel, ranging from the 1930s to the present. Early on, I was influenced by my parents, the late Leonard and Eleanor Senior and artists such as Ray Charles, Nat King Cole, just to name a few.
